MEMORY-FRIENDLY COMMUNITY EVENTS IN THE DENVER AREA This list is reviewed and updated annually. If you see an error, have updated information, or have something to add or subtract, please let us know so we may make an update.

  • American Museum of Western Art (Anschutz Collection): Puzzlin’ Art SPARK! quarterly, usually on 3rd Thursday (adjusts for holidays); reservation required
  • Arapahoe Libraries: Memory Cafe on some Fridays at Koelbel branch; reservation recommended
  • Boulder Age Well Center: daily programs
  • Denver Art Museum: Art & About on the 2nd Thursday of each month; anticipated schedule change in August 2025; reservation required
  • Denver Botanic Gardens: Garden SPARK! on 2nd Wednesday of each month; reservation required
  • Denver Public Library: Memory Cafe on Tuesdays 1:30-2:25; Watercolor Group on 1st Thursday of each month
  • History Colorado: Emily Turner is reviving a memory-friendly program there; contact her for details
  • JeffCo Library: Memory Cafe on some Fridays at Evergreen, Standley Lake
  • Lone Tree Arts Center: Arts in the Afternoon once a month (usually Wednesdays); SPARK! on 4th Thursday
